For anyone who does not have a Family Physician and has symptoms of the virus, you can call DHEC at 855-472-3432 (7 Days a Week from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) or you can call 864-725-4500 enter code COVID19 (Available 24-7), after answering questions, they can guide you to a testing facility.
Mental Health & Community Needs
Charleston Veteran Center
They are open for appointments only for mental health concerns. You will be screened prior to entry at the Vet Center. It is requested that Veterans call for pre-screening prior to coming to the facility. They are working on a limited staff. 843-789-7000
Berkeley Community Mental Health Center
- Is providing ongoing care to patients. They have limited those receiving services at Center in an attempt to serve most patients via remote telehealth services. They ask that citizens call before coming to facility 843.761.8282.
- Their 80+ staff of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and support staff are working from home and center.
