Small Business Network (SBN)
Small Business Network is an excellent opportunity for both new and existing business owners to gather information, network, and learn about the latest business topics and trends. We assemble experts from a multitude of fields to facilitate discussions and answer questions about the latest issues affecting small businesses in every aspect. We also discuss ongoing strategies you can implement to help keep your business growing.
Lowcountry Hospitality Association
This Association geared to the hospitality industry is to further promote and develop tourism in the greater Berkeley County area. The Quarterly meetings geared solely to this clientele are to assist in marketing to increase the bottom line through trends, new marketing techniques or latest business developments. Berkeley County has set a pace of leading the national average with overnight stays.
Area Council Meetings
These monthly meetings assemble top experts and influential business leaders to address pertinent topics and current happenings affecting your business. The Chamber provides our members with the expert knowledge for general and specific industries. Meetings are held throughout the region.
Our popular monthly Business Mixers attract nearly 100 guests each month. We hold these events at a different member business each month to help businesses gain exposure while attracting professionals from all across the region. This is your opportunity to drive more customers to your business, strengthen your relationship with existing ones, and meet and network with the region’s top movers and shakers in a relaxed atmosphere.

Salute to Small Business
This annual event salutes the success of our small businesses and the significant impact they have on our economy. Since 1977 the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce has honored our local small businesses and recognized their achievements and their accomplishments in a number of areas. As it becomes more and more evident that small businesses significantly influence the local, state, national and global economies, the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce will continue to recognize, advocate for, and foster their growth.
The Berkeley Chamber‘s Legislative Luncheon is a great opportunity to hear the issues of our State and receive direct input to their personal question on issues facing our businesses and state.
Our premier event celebrates the achievements of the past year while looking ahead at the Chamber’s new initiatives and advocacy efforts for the coming year. The Chamber leadership for the upcoming year is presented. This is a record attended event for our members and our region.
Breakfast of Champions
The Berkeley Chamber partners with the Berkeley County School District to recognize the area’s top academic students during this event, which is the only one of its kind in the entire state! We encourage business professionals to join us for this event to help us encourage and honor students in the areas of academics, service and leadership.
Teacher of the Year
We conduct this exciting event in partnership with the Berkeley County School District. We honor the selected “Teacher of the Year” from each Berkeley County School and conclude with announcing the “Berkeley County Teacher of the Year”, for the district.
State of the County
The Berkeley Chamber of Commerce proudly hosts the Annual State of the County address by the Berkeley County Supervisor. One of our most well attended programs with detailed information on the county’s accomplishments, future plans and initiatives and issues affecting the county.
The Berkeley Chamber Economic Forecast, is held annually with known professional economic analysts. These professionals share their insight on local, state, national and global economies and their predictions for how it all intertwines with our businesses in our region. These experts give our members the knowledge of the trends they should strategically consider as they plan to move their businesses forward. This event is a must for any business professional.
