BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–This Friday, the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce will formally recognize Berkeley County’s brightest high school students. The top senior will also recognize a teacher who has been most influential throughout his or her school career. Charleston Southern University will host the breakfast in their Strom Thurmond Building. “As always, we are pleased to have SCANA and Trident Health’s support and participation in making this event a success,” said chamber spokesperson, Lindsey Culley. “Among recognizing each student from nine Berkeley County schools as well as St. John’s Christian Academy, this event is a catalyst in stressing the importance of education for the young people of Berkeley County.”
